Dear fellow Rotarians,

I hope you've enjoyed the weekend.

Tuesday 20th June is our last Rotary Meeting for the year, we have Farrah Buckland from the Caroline Chisholm Institute, a student, Stephanie and the Outreach Office coming along to do a presentation for us.

We also have Margaret McDonald, who accepted my invitation to do a presentation on the amazing Gippsland Rotary Centenary House.

The club has donated to both the Carolyn Chisholm Institute $1,500 and Centenary House $1,000.

Please come along and join us for dinner, these fantastic presentations and fellowship.

Our final event for this Rotary Year is the Changeover on Tuesday 27th June, you should have all received an Invitation from Martin Pater.  If you haven't already done so, please RSVP to Martin and transfer your payment as per details on the invitation.

It's hard to believe that we are at the end of our Rotary Year, and what a year it's been!
Together, we have certainly achieved a great deal, donated a large sum of money to numerous worthy causes and organisations; proudly making a difference to the lives of others both within our Community, our country and around the world.
The power of Rotary is absolutely incredible.

I'm pleased to report that Neil Bennett had his surgery last Tuesday and is on the road to recovery, he will be in Mulgrave Private Hospital for awhile yet and Lois Faulkner is progressing very well after her knee replacement.

I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday night.

Kind regards,

Leanne

Club Night - 13th June 2023
Last Tuesday we had 2 excellent speakers. James 'Jimmy' Seeary from Casey Operation Newstart.
Operation Newstart enhances the lives of young people in need of future direction.

The 'Intake 58' Graduation Ceremony will be this Thursday 22nd June at 1pm at the Casey
City Church, 426 Princes Hwy. Narre Warren. The invitation is open to all Rotarians.

President Leanne attended the last Graduation with Hans from the Club and were absolutely
'blown away' by the outcomes of this program for youth aged 14 - 17 years.

Our 2nd speaker was Ron Brooks (RC Forest Hill D9810) who presented the 'Foreign Coin
Collection project for UNICEF.

The project has raised over $25,000 for the Rotary Centennial Project "Every Child Deserves a Future."

On the night our Club gave 3.2 kg of coins and foreign notes. Our contribution has taken the
project to 22.4kg towards the next 60kg donation

A very simple project helping children in the Pacific. Keep collecting your foreign coins.
