President's Message:
I'm pleased to say that it's been another busy and productive Rotary week.

On Tuesday afternoon I had a meeting with Jackie Smith, our dedicated Interact lead teacher, which was followed by an Induction planning meeting with our new Interactors.

I hope to see many of our Club members
at the Induction Ceremony at Lyndale S.C.
on Monday morning.
Please register on ClubRunner if you are coming along.  Students will be in the school foyer to help sign in with your 'Working with Children Card'. They will then escort people over to the Auditorium.

Our meeting on Tuesday night was filled with fellowship and fun, including our very informative Guest Speaker Trish Carr.
Trish presented her innovative Mental Health and Crisis Support QR Code Initiative:
Anytime, Anywhere Via the QR Code
What is the Mental Health QR Code Initiative?
It might look like just a simple sticker or poster, but when someone scans that QR code, it can be the doorway to trusted mental health and support services.

Offering private, immediate help that can truly change, or even save, a life.
The Rotary Mental Health & Crisis Support QR Code Initiative is reshaping how people reach out for help.

With a single scan, anyone, young or old, confident or anxious, in crisis or simply struggling—can access immediate, stigma free support. No forms. No judgement. No barriers. Just help, right when it’s needed. Instant access to trusted 24/7 crisis centres.
The initiative allows individuals to scan a QR code using their mobile phone to be directed instantly to reputable Australian mental health resources and crisis lines such as Homelessness, Family Violence, plus many more services.
Contact numbers are hyperlinked allowing the user to just touch a button to call a service.
The goal is to make help easier to find at the moment it is needed, while reducing stigma around seeking support.

Please be sure to keep an eye on the
ClubRunner calendar of events, and book
in for our meetings.

An email has been sent to all members with ALL details regarding our new meeting night, which will be on Thursdays, starting this week 23rd July.

I look forward to seeing you at the
Lyndale S.C. Interact Induction Ceremony on Monday, and also on Thursday 23rd July at the Dandenong Club.

Yours in Rotary,
Leanne
I urge club members to consider signing up for a personal donation to the Foundation.

support for those in need.

Thank you, Brian Ashworth, for the hours of work you are putting in, to develop our website into a more reflective display of the incredible contribution and difference our Club makes to our Local and Global communities.
